Partly download iCloud files

My iWork files - Pages / Number / Keynote - partly of the files available online in iCloud and can be seen on iOS device is just not downloading and taking long time to upload or just stay there waiting. Some of the files is downloaded and some is not. Im using new macbook air - the storage available is sufficient. Please advice. Thank you.
